Club Secretary, Alan Freedman, is pictured with Paediatric Nurse Linda Hammond from the Coffs Harbour Hospital. The club has donated a vein finder and other equipment to help improve the treatment of their young patients.  Linda commended the tiny vein finder (1/4 the size of a golf ball) as very small children's hands will naturally curve around it.  "It's best for everyone if the doctor can lodge a needle in the vein the first time.  Better for the nurse holding the child.  Better for the mother and much better for the little one.  Thanks to the Rotary Club of Sawtell for continuing to support our work with young children".
