Guest speakers Cheryl and John Ward spoke about Frontier Projects ongoing work with a school and orphanage in Haiti.

John and Cheryl hiked for 10 hours to visit Carrefour last month.
The Bouvier school is flourishing with excellent results for their year six students.
John talked about the Frontier Projects now moving to equip single parents with skills for employment, including training in the trades and retail.
Love Community Home is a loving home for Carrefour's orphaned & homeless children. A small, safe & caring family environment & elementary school- with House Parents: Pastor & Madame Vincent.  Cheryl informed us of the high number of children placed in orphanages who still have a parent.  The orphanage now seeks to re-unite families and helps out with ensuring that parents have at least a bed for their child.
Following a question from Rotarian Mike, Cheryl showed members a couple of photos of very happy children in the rubber boots donated by the Rotary Club of Sawtell.
